Welcome to the home of Hockey Nova Scotia!
Jun. 15, 2020

In alignment with Hockey Canada’s Safety Guidelines and the Sport Nova Scotia COVID-19 Return to Sport Guidelines, Hockey Nova Scotia is developing a return-to-hockey framework specific to our game here in this province.

This framework is called the Rebound Plan and it is a fluid and living document that will require revisions as we move into the summer and throughout the 2020-21 season. The plan will include comprehensive safety guidelines and new training requirements, along with a phased-in approach for returning to play.

As arenas across Nova Scotia begin to reopen, facilities are required to adhere to the COVID-19 Return to Recreation (Program and Facility) Guidelines

Any programs that are currently operating at these facilities are not Hockey Nova Scotia-sanctioned activities.

Hockey Nova Scotia associations and leagues may offer on-ice, sanctioned activities provided that these activities comply with Hockey Nova Scotia’s Rebound Plan.

The Rebound Plan would not be possible without the hard work and support of our leagues, associations, and other volunteers across the province. We have been working together to get the game safely back on the ice as soon as we can.

The Rebound Plan will be reviewed by the province this week. We hope to make it available to the public on Tuesday, June 30.

Yours in Hockey,
