PICTOU COUNTY'S DANIEL THOMPSON RECEIVES FEBRUARY'S BERNIE LAWLOR AWARD

Hockey Nova Scotia’s Minor Council is proud to announce the winners of February’s Bernie Lawlor Memorial Coach of the Month Award

 Daniel Thompson is the latest recipients of the coaching honour.

The
 award is named in memory of Bernie Lawlor, a long-time Hockey Nova Scotia Minor Council regional director for the Halifax zone. It is handed out each month to exceptional teachers of the game who have helped to make our sport better.

Daniel Thompson is the head coach of the Pictou County Minor Hockey Association's Midget C Royals.
 
Respected by his peers and his players, Daniel expects the best from his team and has helped make them better people both on and off the ice.
 
A role model for his players, Daniel is an active volunter within his association and a true team player. Aside from coaching his Midget C team, he is also on the PCMHA board, looks after ice rentals, and organize the C-level leagues in the area.
 
Hockey Nova Scotia and the Hockey Nova Scotia Minor Council would like to congratulate Daniel on his award and thank him for his contribution to the game.
