SAULNIER, TURNBULL AND WONG NAMED TO CWHL ALL-STAR GAME

TORONTO — Three Nova Scotians will showcase their stuff against the Canada Women’s Hockey League’s top players next month.

Jill Saulnier, Blayre Turnbull and Jessica Wong have been selected to participate in the 2019 CWHL All-Star Game.

Saulnier, a Halifax native and forward with Les Canadiennes de Montréal, has posted three goals and six assists in six games this season.

Stellarton’s Turnbull is second on the Calgary Inferno in scoring with six goals and six assists in 12 games while Baddeck’s Wong, a blue-liner with the Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays, has two goals and six assists in 13 games this season.

The CWHL All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
