HOCKEY NOVA SCOTIA ANNOUNCES ROSTER FOR QMJHL'S GATORADE EXCELLENCE CHALLENGE
Tournament runs from April 26-30 in Boisbriand, QC
DARTMOUTH — Twenty players from Nova Scotia will have an opportunity to compete against eastern Canada's top prospects this month.
Hockey Nova Scotia announced today the roster that will represent the province at the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Gatorade Excellence Challenge in Boisbriand, QC later this month. The tournament runs from April 26-30 at the Centre d'Excellence Sports Rousseau in Boisbriand.
Hockey Nova Scotia’s team is made up of two goaltenders, six defensemen and twelve forwards from across the province. Please find the entire team roster below.
The Gatorade Excellence Challenge is an annual tournament that features six teams from Quebec (2), New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia. More than one hundred of the top prospects from the region will take part in the event which scouts will use as an evaluation tool ahead of the 2017 QMJHL Entry Draft.
