MIRAMICHI, N.B. – The Cape Breton West Islanders will represent the province at Major Midget Atlantics this week.

The Major Midget AAA Atlantic Championship gets underway on Thursday, March 30 and continues until Sunday, April 2 at the Miramichi Civic Centre in Miramichi, N.B. The Cape Breton West Islanders are the Nova Scotia entry at this year’s tournament.

This year’s Atlantic event is being hosted by the Miramichi Rivermen. Besides the Islanders, the Rivermen will be joined at the event by the Kensington Wild (Hockey PEI), the St. John’s Maple Leafs (Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador) and the Moncton Flyers (Hockey New Brunswick).
