DARTMOUTH – A trio of provincial champions will be determined this weekend at three provincial tournaments underway at rinks across Nova Scotia.

The top Female Bantam AA teams in the province are facing off at the Bowles Arena in Dartmouth. The event is being hosted by the Metro East Inferno. Metro West (Red), Metro West (Black), Fundy/Highland and Glace Bay are also competing at the event for the provincial title.

Peewee AAA provincials got underway on Thursday in Trenton. Host Pictou County, Halifax, Bedford, TASA, Glace Bay, Acadia and the Strait will all vie for provincial bragging rights and a chance to represent the province at Peewee AAA Atlantics next month.

The Female Peewee AA tournament is also underway in Pictou County. The Female Peewee AA squad from Pictou will be up against some stiff competition in the form of Metro West (Blue), Metro West (Black), the Valley Wild and Metro East.

Midget AA Provincials: April 6-9, 2017 (Host: Chebucto Minor Hockey Association)
Bantam AA Provincials: April 6-9, 2017 (Host: Glace Bay Minor Hockey Association)
Female Midget AA Provincials: April 7-9, 2017 (Host: Fundy/Highland; Location: Pictou)
