Hockey Nova Scotia’s Development Combine is an inclusive training and education program designed to allow high performance players the opportunity to stay on the ice and prepare for the coming season in a fast paced environment with intense and competitive on-ice sessions. This program is aimed at higher level players who are playing at AA, AAA and Major levels.

Often during the season, coaches get caught up in working with their team and adjusting on the fly. Wins and losses occur and sometimes practices and planning gets altered to fit with what is happening day to day during the season. The problem is that skill development and the overall development of a hockey player is a very long process. This program is about getting players back into an environment where the development of players is the main focus. Getting the opportunity to explore new techniques in an intense but supportive environment is what we aim to do here.
