REGISTER NOW FOR CSCA/HOCKEY NS SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAM

The Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic (CSCA) and Hockey Nova Scotia are proud to offer a 12-week off-season training program, beginning in April.  Prepare and train to improve your game with this extensive off-ice program with some of Canada’s best strength and conditioning coaches.

The 12-week program will begin the week of April 21st, and includes three training sessions at the Canadian Sport Centre located at the Canada Games Centre

The goals of this program will be to:

  • Increase movement competency and efficiency (SAQ, sprint technique, power)
  • Build a base level of strength and torso stability to improve performance
  • Increase fitness capacities to improve endurance and level of play
  • Administer fitness testing at the beginning and completion of the program to track progress and monitor gains


For the Men’s U14 groups, there will be two different training groups to choose from.  Please review the two different time slots and note which you would like to sign-up for training.

- Group #1: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30pm to 8:30pm
- Group #2: Tuesday and Thursday – 8:30-9:30pm; Friday 5:30-6:30pm


For the Men’s U15 groups, there will be two different training groups to choose from.  Please review the two different time slots and note which you would like to sign-up for training.

- Group #1: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm
- Group #2: Tuesday and Thursday – 7:30-8:30pm; Friday 4:30-5:30pm


For the Men’s U16 groups, there will be two different training groups to choose from.  Please review the two different time slots and note which you would like to sign-up for training.

- Group #1: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00am to 7:00am
- Group #2: Tuesday and Thursday – 7:00-8:00am; Saturday 10-11am


For the Women’s U15 group, the following times have been allotted for training:

- Tuesday and Thursday – 6:00-7:00am; Saturday 9-10am


For the Women’s U18 group, the following times have been allotted for training:

- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00am to 8:00am

Please note that each group will be limited to 12 athletes per group. 
The cost of the training program will be $150/athlete for the 12-week cycle.
