Welcome to the home of Hockey Nova Scotia!
Feb. 7, 2014

The Halifax Forum will be packed tonight and for good reason.

Tonight is #TomStrong Night at the Forum – an event in appreciation and support of Tom Lee.

Lee is no stranger to Nova Scotia’s hockey community. For years, he was involved with Hockey Nova Scotia’s High Performance Program. In recent years, he has been an assistant coach with the Saint Mary’s Huskies men’s hockey team.

In 2008, Lee was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma. Despite countless treatments over the last six years, Tom Lee has maintained a positive outlook and in doing so, has inspired many in this province who share his love of the game.

Now, after undergoing a bone marrow transplant in the fall, Lee is on the road to recovery and tonight when his SMU Huskies take on the Acadia Axemen, he will be celebrated. All of the funds raised from tonight’s game will go toward the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

Hockey Nova Scotia encourages everyone to go to the Forum tonight to support Tom and to watch some great university hockey!
