The NCCP High Performance I (formerly Advanced I) Seminar will be held from July 22^nd-27th in Antigonish, NS on the campus of St. Francis Xavier University.

In an effort to continue to provide a wider range of professional development for interested and qualified coaches, this seminar will be combining coaching education and an athlete development camp.

The coaching seminar will be the NCCP High Performance I Program where professional speakers will deliver sessions featuring topics such as special teams, yearly plan, offensive/defensive individual tactics, offensive/defensive team play systems, goaltending and much more.  You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the top coaches and hockey minds in Atlantic Canada, as well as other presenters from around the country.

The theory of coaching will be merged with the on-ice application of coaching.  In addition to classroom lectures and tasks, the selected coaches will plan and run on-ice sessions and participate on the bench in game situations for a portion of the Hockey Nova Scotia Male Under 14 and Male Under 15 Summer Camps. 

It is the commitment of the Atlantic Branches to work with the already existing Provincial Branch Summer Camp to provide an exceptional professional development opportunity.
