Hockey Nova Scotia is pleased to announce a pilot 3 on 3 hockey league.  Hoping to offer a lower cost and commitment option to those who love the game, the 3 on 3 league will look different than usual minor hockey but familiar to those who are used to playing on the pond or in the backyard!

Age: 13-17 (Bantam – Midget)
Player Equipment: Full hockey gear, cage neck guard etc.            
Teams: 6 players per team (may be a mix of age and sex)
Registration: Individual or team (players can play with friends)
Games: Half Ice, 2 x 20 minute period, players keep score, no standings
Rules: No slapshots, no checking, no goalies, have fun!
Supervision/Administration: One time keeper and two on ice officials/monitors (monitor dressing rooms as well).
HNS provided equipment: Rink dividers to divide rink, pond hockey nets (5 ft wide 10 inches high)

Program costs: Based on 10 sessions, ice on hold from Jan 21, 2012 to March 24, 2012 at Shannon Arena.
$150.00 (includes jersey and 10 sessions)
